Do you know the markets of the Costa Blanca area?


You will find everything from textiles, clothing, crafts, animals, objects of decoration, interior design, to  footwear and products from the garden, fruit and vegetables, music ... etc.

 Some take place one day a week and others are permanent. Many of them are installed on the promenades, being able to enjoy the pleasant sea breeze so characteristic of this area. We leave you now with information about some of the most important street markets in the area;

 Market of Torrevieja.

Every Friday (including holidays) in the mornings, usually from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
It is located on Avenida Delfina Viudes, next to the water park.
It is the largest market in Torrevieja, with more than 1,000 stalls, there is a wide variety of articles, and bargains. Some of the products you can buy are fruits and vegetables, cold meats such as hams and cheeses, clothes, handbags, belts, shoes and bedding, hardware, costume jewelry, accessories, toys and much more.
There are free parking areas also.



 Craft Market of Torrevieja.

It is a market that is on everyday.
It is located on the Paseo Marítimo de la Libertad, next to the fair.
Schedule: All day, but on many occasions not all stalls open all day and its schedule begins in the evening, about 20:00 until after midnight.
This is a smaller market and is known as "los hippys" and has more than 200 stalls, very popular throughout the summer.

 Market of La Mata.

Every Wednesday.
It is located in the Canal del Acequión, very close to the beach.
Schedule: Mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In this market you can find fruit, vegetables, flowers, bread, decorative items such as paintings, vases, fashion, shoes, sandals, bedding and endless things.



 Market of Guardamar del Segura.

Every Wednesday.
It is located behind the Church near the pine forest of Guardamar.
Hours: Mornings.
This is open throughout the year but registers more activity, both in hours and in stalls, during the summer. If in the winter there are a small number of stalls but during the summer this number increases to a hundred.

 Mercadillo del Moncayo in Campo de Guardamar.

Frequency: Every Sunday.
Hours: Mornings.
Location: Campo de Guardamar. Alto del Moncayo Carretera Guardamar-Montesinos.
It has a wide variety of stalls.

 Market of San Miguel de Salinas.

It is on a Wednesday and is located on Calle Juan XXII.
It has a wide variety of stalls with all kinds of products, from vegetables to clothes and everything in between.

 Aquamarina Market

Every Thursday morning,
Start your tour next to the aquamarine health center.. between 9:00 and 15:00 hours. A whole street next to the seafront.
It is well stocked as there is variety in vegetables and fruits, sausages, nuts, pickles and salted meats, clothes, shoes, accessories, bazaar items, cleaning and white. It has a sandwich shop.
The market especially in summer is very, very busy, because it is located in an area with a lot of tourists and the charm of it is spectacular.



 Playa Flamenca Beach Market.

Every Saturday.
This market is placed from the roundabout, along Avd Nicolás de Bussi along its length. From 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

This market the number of stalls, on the one hand several roast chicken, some prepared meals, several bakery and pastries, salted and pickled and vegetable and fruit stalls in variety and quantity. We also find the traditional stalls of sweets and candies, as well as those of men's, women's and children's clothing, those of footwear, underwear, and some of handbags. There is a great music stand, which has music at great volume. Stalls that really standout and worth a look are the ones selling sausages, cheeses and hams, a high quality stall that is dedicated to the sale of very shabby Persian rugs, another stall with artisans of wood, iron and glass, which really surprise with the decoration items and the lamps, and finally one that sells skins to use as rugs or throws, from cow skins, zebra skins etc.



 Monthly market in San Pedro del Pinatar.

There is a special market held on the third Sunday of each month in the hours of 10 to 2, from September to June in the Esplanade and from 8pm in July and August in the Parque de los Reyes de España. This market offers embroideries, paintings, musical instruments, ceramics, puppets, costume jewelry, natural cosmetics, homemade sausages, nougat and a wide variety of handicrafts.

San Pedro del Pinatar also has the general street market on calle victor Pradera every Monday.

 Market of Los Montesinos.

 Market of Pilar de la Horadada.

Location: In front of the Town Hall.

 Flea market of San Fulgencio.

Frequency: Every Tuesday.
Hours: Mornings.
Location: C / Gabriel Miró (after passing the medical center).

 Market of the Urbanization La Marina.

Frequency: Every Thursday and Sunday.
Hours: Mornings.
